Nicknamed 'El Gigante de Acero' (The Steel Giant), Estadio BBVA opened in 2015 and immediately became an icon of Mexican football architecture. Home to CF Monterrey, its signature floating roof appears to hover above the bowl, creating a canopy effect while keeping the ends open to the Sierra Madre mountain views. TransportUber and Didi work well in Monterrey. The designated pickup area is on the east side of the stadium. Expect 20-30 minute waits post-match. Walk 10 minutes to the nearby Walmart or Oxxo on Av. Alfonso Reyes to order from there and skip the surge pricing.
